ABOUT US
Barrie Price started providing accounting services to Thames Valley, Coromandel Peninsula and beyond in January 1983 as Barrie W Price, Chartered Accountant. Since then the firm has developed to where we are today - A team of four full-time accounting staff, one junior and one full-time office staff, of course headed by principal Barrie W Price (CA).
As a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA), Barrie and the other professional members of the firm are committed to undertaking on-going professional development and are bound by the Institutes code of ethics and professional standards. We are also a NZICA 'Approved Training Organisation'.
Barrie W Price (CA)
Years of accounting experience in all types of industries, including agribusiness. Barrie over sees all work and has a commitment to systems development and quality control within the firm. Barrie is a no nonsense accountant who tells it like it is.
Alan Bloom (ACA, B.Com)
Joined the firm in February 2003 and is a senior member of the team. Apart from the traditional accounting services, Alan has a keen interest in employment relation issues such as contractual obligation, Kiwisaver and wage disputes. Alan is an Associate Chartered Account (ACA) as a member of NZICA.

Leeann Harris
Joined the firm in February 2003, returning to the workforce after her son began school. Leeann previously worked for Accountants in Matamata and has an excellent all round knowledge of accounting.

David Gilmore
David joined the firm in August 2001 after leaving Thames High School. Currently David is completing accountancy papers, with the aim of becoming an Accounting Technician (AT).

Elizabeth Young
Joined the firm in March 2011 after completing a double degree in Accountancy and Law at Waikato University. Elizabeth is enjoying the challenge of putting all the study to work and as an Approved Training Organisation we are able to help mentor her towards her Public Practice Certificate.

Becky Rhodes
Our front office person, Becky has done our computer work since joining the firm March 2009. Becky is currently on the way studying management papers.

Sue Price
Sue is our office manager and has been so since day one. Sue oversees the general running of the practise and shares the front office duties with Becky. Sue is the person to talk to if your tax refund needs chasing up.
